Her Eyes, That's Where Hope Lies, That's where Blue Skies always meet the Sunrise
I was talking to a friend online and she commented about gaining weight and it made me realize that stress has caused me to lose weight. Since about May I've gone down about 2 dress sizes. Oy. I'm withering away to nothing. Michael even commented on it when I went over to do Banner War planning. Not a bad comment, mind you, just said "You look like you've lost a lot of weight" and I think I have. I don't go off of scale readings because they're usually incorrect, but, well, it wasn't all that comforting of an observation. I don't want to lose weight because of stress :o/
Saw a French Documentary last night entitled "The Glass Ceiling". It made me so angry. Some of the 2nd and 3rd generation immigrants, people who are born and raised in France, are not allowed equal rights because their parents or their grandparents are not from France. They're going through what people here in the USA went through back in the 1960's with the Civil Rights Movement. I thought the world had gotten over themselves and were allowing everyone a chance. Sometimes I cannot stand my starry-eyed optimism. Nurgle.
Trying to find stuff for my knighting ceremony, but it's proving to be a bit more difficult than I expected. Blake and I were talking last night and he brought up a really good point. This is my ceremony, my accolade. How I choose to celebrate it is my choice. I'm getting knighted in ministry, what better way to be knighted then right in the middle of doing ministry stuff? heehee. Have to talk with HRM next weekend at the feast to sort everything out, but I might have found a site to host the event as well, which would uber rawk if I did.
School is school, home is home, boy is boy, life is, well, life. Never ending merry go round as the song goes. Waiting to see if my proposal for Banner War passed or not; I'm really hoping it did. Otherwise, looking for new stuff to do to keep myself entertained. I should make a list of all the art projects I want to get done. Maybe I will get my household banner done before my knighting, wouldn't it be nice? heehee. Anywho, back to work for me.
