OK so all these new Tea Party rumors have me rather worried now, I wasen't overly concerned before but now? I'm kinda worried.. Supposedly Martin is telling people TP is no more. Until I hear it from their own mouths I won't believe it....and then I'll have a nice and long heartbroken breakdown if it turns out to be true, darn it.
I'm at least grateful that my niece decided against going to the horse races yesterday. We were going to take her to watch the Super Derby live, as it turned out the poor angel was too tired (wtf do 1st graders need to run the track for at school? huh 4 times no less? that's stupid in this heat!) As it turned out they had a major incident during the derby as Royal Saint (my horse no less and the local star) had a heart attack and died in the stretch. I was crying and sick just watching on tv I'd have been hysterical had I been there to see it live. I sure don't want my niece to see something like that, especially her first time at the track seeing them live.
Only nice thing was she did pick the winning horse for the derby, as well as picking some long shots who won stakes races in new york, the kid is just good what can I say, she's lucky.
