Sitting in the living room tonight at a ridiculous hour, I decided to watch T.V. . I was flipping through the channel guide when I saw a show on MTV (no shock there) entitled "Date My Mom". I was curious to see what ridiculousness this show entailed, so I turned it on. The basic premise of this show is that there's one guy, three girls, and he has to pick one based on a date he has with each of their Moms. Now speaking from a standpoint where I have a Mom who is an attention whore and has always flirted with younger men, I find this spectacularly disturbing. One Mom and Daughter pair looked and acted exactly alike, and one Mom told the guy that her daughter "loved to bake" and that he'd "never find a cherry pie that tasted as good as hers". *wretch*

Seriously. What. The. Fuck. What happened to my Monkees, Daria, and other cool junk that used to be on MTV. Gah!

I think I may seriously impale my brain with a q-tip after this.
