Alright, so I've seen a ton of interesting people around here and that got me thinking. . .

What kinds of foods did you all use to eat back home? What were your favorite dishes? And have you managed to find the ingredients here to make them?

I like cheese the best. I've been making some here as well.

What kind of cheese is your favorite? And how do you make cheese? Is it hard?

It isn't really but I've been doing it for a while. I grew up on a sheep farm and it was always my job to make the cheese and butter.

I don't really have a favorite but I think one of the most interesting to make is the Lancre Blue cheese....but I suppose that didn't turn out so well all things considering.

I bet the quality's different when it's handmade versus store-bought, right?

Yes. Half of the cheese they sell here I wouldn't really call cheese at all.

[Processed cheese...yuck]

How long does it take to make cheese by hand though? Few hours? Days?

A few hours. It really doesn't take that long.

[Chuckles] Perhaps I could try making cheese for fun sometime.

I could show you how if you like. It's not that hard. It just takes patience.

Thanks! I'd like that. It's much easier to learn when you can see someone do it first.

It is.

Do you want to come over after school one day?

That would work. Whenever you're free is good, or the weekends too.

Alright. Thatt sounds like fun.

There isn't much to do here.

In this town you mean?

Yes.

Can't argue with that point at all. I mean, essentially my 'regular' day here isn't much different from my 'regular' day back home. You know, go to school, come home, do homework, go to sleep, rinse, repeat. But entertainment-wise this town's definitely lacking.
