Terrible morning
So today has been terrible..this morning, less than 2 minutes from my house, I spun out on ice on the road going 40 mph +++ and slammed into a wooden fence ...my car ended up in the middle of these poor people's yard and their fence is only half up now (what remains of it)...
Being that I was 360ing down the road towards oncoming traffic and no one was coming my way, I guess I am lucky....
Wish my car was that lucky.
It is not driveable...the rear axle is destroyed, the passenger side is smashed in and my tire punctured. At least the airbags didnt go off and hit me..although I must admit I am still pretty shaken up.
The cop said this family has had to replace their fence more than 5 times in the past year. Bad spot in the road I guess.
Funny thing, when I was growing up, there was never a fence there! DAMN THEM FOR PUTTING ONE UP NOW!! Being that their house is up on a hill, gravity would slowed me down and my car would still be in one piece.
Well, enough from my morning...I am car-less..and my insurance does not cover rental cars so my staff will be carting me around..kind of like "driving miss daisy" ....oh, like the old days with the suspended license!
Feel bad for me..I need it today.
