(no subject)
Ok, so i havn't updated in years, not that anyone really cares...but anyway. So my life as been filled with quite a few rather tomultous events. First off my grandfather suffered a heart attack and died, all within the span of a few weeks. This was really hard on me and my whole family. He was the first person i've lost that i've been really close to. I start tearing up everytime i think about memories i've had with him. Anyway, so I was home for two weekends straight one week in the hospital the other at a funeral chapel. The lady who did the (quite agnostic) service was amazing, she was probably the nicest most touching minister (or whatever her offical title is) i've ever heard speak. The burial was actually really cool. It was a military burial so there was a 15 gun salute and a flag folding dealy. It was all very touching, and it was nice seeing relitives. Well, i should clarify, it was ok seeing relitives. Its hard repeating the same speach and having to explain the same intractacies of your life over and over again. Also it's awkward when people know all about you and you know little to nothing about them. Anyway, so the day I get back to school I walk over to my car, only to find out that some jerk off had competely smashed in my back window. It was just the topper to a really bad day/week. Also I had three finals to study for. My latin american studies final went well, my math final went well (and when I say well I mean like B range), but my japanese final was basically the worst thing ever. It raped me in the ass. It just aggrvates me because i know i could have done soooooo much better if i had focued on studying different chapters. Grrrr. I hate that class. You're over it shelley. You're over it. Anywho, so the window in my car took about 4 days to get fixed (setting me back 3 days from my ETD). During those few days I helped george pack for eruope which was fun. I love doing that kind of stuff. We went out to dinner and a movie on sunday. We saw the interpreter, which was not as good as anticipated on our part. We went out to dinner at joe greensleaves and had a $43 steak. It was amazing. The only steak i've ever had that i liked. On monday my car got fixed and I headed out to the OC to visit Adam, then justin. Adam and I went out for dinner at a sushi place (which was really good) with his sister and her boyfriend (who was as obnoxious as sin) and then out to dessert (which was also yummy). It's weird, the more i'm in the OC, the more I'm sooo happy I live in santa barbara, where everything is small and unique. Next I was off to justin's house for some old school and sleep. This morning we went shopping, which was fun, i got a really cute shirt (satiny going out shirt) and some sunglasses for a total of....drumroll....$22, yes it's true. I headed back home around 2 and have been pretty bored ever since. But i'm going to cal poly on thurs, YES! So that's a breif overveiw of my life. Hope you enjoyed it.
