So saturday I went on a little road trip with george. Friday we headed to the Claremont colleges so I could see Katie and he could see a few of his friends. It was sooooo awsome to see katie. Her hair was so unexpected though, it was like blond and still REALLY wavy from her euro-perm. Anyway, she had to head off quite quickly to go to a dinner so I hung out with George and his friend Alex for a while. I really liked alex he was so chill! He shops at thrift stores, we're into the same music (except musicals, ah, i miss theater people), and he's way laid back and less preppy than george, totally like friends back home. We also hung out with George's friend Katie, who I can't really say I liked. I don't know what it was, but I just really didn't like her. Neither did Katie (Alexander) though, so it's ok. I also met his friend Liz who was ok. After Katie got back me, george, and alex all went back with katie to her dorm to get ready for the "mexicali" party that was going to happen in her dorm that night. Now you have to understand that Redlands doesn't really have that many parties, and they are really strict about drinking, no strict isn't the word...anal...is the word. But anyway, so I knew this party was gonna be a little different when students started bringing 12 pack after 12 pack of mexican beer INTO the dorm. It was crazy! The school provides them with alcohol! I don't know maybe i'm naive or something, but this was the first experience i've had with a school providing beer for it's underage students. So needless to say i drank. Not that much though, I had a shot of tequilla (which was terrible, but only 'cause my chaser was beer) and a beer and a half. I was actually surprised, 'cause i wasn't even buzzed after that. But i hate beer and that's all they seemed to have and katie and i didn't feel like venturing out anywhere so i didn't have any more than that. George on the other hand...oh george...see, george has like no alcohol tolerance...zero...so after 2 beers he was...well...a little happy/tipsy, after 3 beers a skrewdriver and half a shot he was like the most drunk person i've ever seen. He actually admitted that he was the most drunk he'd ever been. Yeah, katie and i met up with george, alex, and liz later when george and alex were really really drunk. It was funny, yet slightly annoying because i felt like i was babysitting him, and because afterward he kept asking me why i didn't get drunk. But yeah, in the morning Katie and i went thrift store shopping around claremont, which was soooo much fun!
After saying bye to katie we headed on a freeway spree for like ever getting to ucla, then to the rosebowl, then to ucla...anyway, we had a little direction problem (thanks a lot MATT) Well, we finally made it to the rose bowl to see ucla slaughter sdsu. After the game i chilled with marti, duncan, matt, alex hawkins(visiting as well), and alissa. It was sooo much fun. Dude, at one point we went to kiz's room and there were honestly like 10 San Marcos people in there, incluing the kiz, josh kettler, clay faulkner (yeah i know not sm, but really really weird, i didn't realize who it was untill i was about to leave), maddie jacks, lana f., and the rest of us. I also ran into emily, keith, and steve (who recently pledged a fraternity, frat boy!). It was a grand old time. It especially made my night when mike came back from the ballet he was attending (manditory...the class he's taking...NOT mandatory, LOL!!!). I miss mike, a lot, i miss mollie a lot too, i miss everyone a lot. Anyway, fun times, yeah after a breif stint at a really lame dance we headed back to redlands. all in all a really fun weekend. YAY!!
