missing michigan
so i'm really starting to miss Ann Arbor. i don't know if i really miss school as much as i miss all my friends, and ann abor, and football season. i think being in school might be worth being back with everyone. i guess i really wasn't ready to move out and get on with the real world. i think at some point i want to move back to the ann arbor area. i've got a few years to figure all that out at least. i am going to be visiting in october-ish. i am going back to drive back to Oklahoma with Chris since he is picking up his truck in michigan. i'll keep everyone posted on when i'll be coming through town.
i'll feel better and less ann arbor-sick when Chris gets back. spending time with him should help me forget how much i miss everyone and everything. i can't wait for him to get home! i don't know yet exactly when he is coming home but it is approximately 6 weeks. i'm so excited to see him again!
so totally off topic, we had a pretty bad storm here last night. it knocked out my power for a few hours. thankfully it was only 75 degrees outside (and rain wasn't blowing in) so i could keep my balcony door open and keep my living room cool enough to sit in until the AC came back on. i'm glad i bought good flashlight a few weeks ago cuz my power didn't come back on until after it was dark. thankfully i have movies on my computer and enough battery life so i didn't get bored. i tried reading but using one big flashlight to read instead of lighting the room up wasn't a good idea. unfortunately the power outtage meant that i didn't get to finish my laundry yesterday like i planned. so i have to cut into my planned laziness for the day to do laundry. and now to get some new milk. ah well. nothing is really on tv on sunday's anyway. speaking of laundry... time to throw another load in.
