DONE WITH COLLEGE!!!
yay! i'm all done! this is so surreal. it STILL hasn't hit me yet that i graduated. but i did. i was also like the 10th person to have my name called and recieve my "diploma" at the engineering graduation. :-) okay that's really only because they sat us in alphabetical order according to our major, so aerospace was first and i sat in the front row, but still, it was cool. oh! we just may also end up in a ford fusion commercial, at least around the Ann Arbor area. our keynote speaker was some VIP at ford, and there was one part of her speech that mentioned the ford fusion, and that the motto for it was life in D and something about adrenaline. but then instead of talking about living life to the fullest, she first talked a little too much (15~20 seconds worth) about the fusion. it sounded like a commercial. i'll let you know if it actually airs.
so i'm all moved out of Ann Arbor. but i went back to visit two days after i left, so that didn't help it hit me that i've left for good. i'm actually getting pretty good about saying goodbye. i've learned well from Chris. he hates goodbye's, so i'm good at smiling and leaving with a happy goodbye.. i'm not always so happy on the car ride home, but i'm good when i have to leave. it will sink in when i go look at apartments in oklahoma...hopefully. i guess my brain still thinks it is like it was last summer: finish school, relax a few weeks, move for the summer, come back to Ann Arbor and go back to school. it is going to be so weird when september rolls around and i don't go back to school. don't get me wrong, i am SO excited to be done with school. but it is going to take some getting used to.
i went furniture shopping today. all i bought was a dresser and a couple chairs for my dining room table. nothing special, but it was still kinda fun. target has so much great stuff. but now everytime i look at stuff i stop and think if Chris would like it or not. it's all going to be half his pretty soon anyway. so far i haven't come across anything yet that i absolutely love and know that he would absolutely hate. like i told him, it's a good thing my favorite color is blue and not hot pink. :-)
...so i think that's about all for now. i'm sleepy.. definately time for bed. i may try a little harder to update this more. maybe not. maybe after i move and don't know too many people and don't want to go out and spend my money. who knows... i will have to let everyone know when my moving plans are finalized (right now its just sometime after my car gets here, which is the first week of june) so i can see everyone at least once before i more. however, you are all welcome to come visit me in OKC! plane tickets are like ~$180-$200 if you get them a fews or so in advance, and you of course can stay with me!
