Now this is gonna sound like a brash generalization, but I must say I think one thing that will definately hold us ('us' being the human race, in this instance) back from finding a solution to this global warming predicament is that men are unwilling to give up their toys. To clarify, by toys I mean cars.
My pa is interested in purchasing a new vehicle, and I went to him yesterday to try and give him a little nudge towards a hybrid. He said that he wants a big car with lots of room, like the one we've got now (a Hundai Sante Fe, I believe). I asked him what all this spare room was for and what exactly he planned to put in it. He said nothing, he just likes a lot of space.
Aaaargh!
Also, I hate Christians. Next time one of em approaches me on the street and tries to convince me that evolution is false and God is our creator, I shall pose to them this question, which I encourage any brave e-Christians to answer now: Why do we have tailbones?
