15 THINGS THAT REALLY IRRITATE ALEXIS:
1) People who use livejournal to announce to the world that they have problems, thereby urging their friends or secret crushes who read the post to show them generous amounts of affection the next time they see the person. I'm likely guilty of this on a few occassions, as is everyone, but I'm talking about the ones who say things like 'I tried to kill myself today' and such. It's a different story if someone uses their livejournal to rant to their friends about their stress issues (as using an online blog often relieves said stess), or some minor 'drama' (for example, 'i fell down today and it hurt' or 'i am sad right now'), but GOD it irks me when people make posts that are such obvious cries for attention. Note that this is not a post intended to make people pay attention to me -- i'm just angry and so i am ranting (in list form! hoorah...)
2) People who think they are outrageously good-looking and make 'model' poses every time they're near a camera. word of advice: you look stupid. just make an attempt to smile or purposefully screw up your face to hide how un-photogenic you are like the rest of us.
3) Wiggers.
4) People who are stupid enough to not understand the importance of art.
5) People who think art -- particularly their art -- is more important than it actually is.
6) The female counterpart to #3, sluts -- the ones with blonde hair, 'whore hoops' in their ears, belly button rings, and cleavage tops. and before you condemn me for being a hipocrit, let me clarify that i was only like this in grade 8 and have since reformed.
7) People who use gimmicks to make them more well-known.
8) Attention seekers.
9) DRAMA QUEEENNSSSS...
10) The Vancouver School Board -- you fucking idiots
11) Social barriers
12) For the most part, teenagers
13) People who take pictures of themselves from various "creative" angles (Dom, you know what video I'm thinking of), and post them on their livejournal / xanga / myspace. These people are usually the same people as those described in #2.
14) Immaturity
15) People who deny the fact that most rap videos of the 'gangsta' variety are degrading to women. idiots.
Aaaaah. That felt nice. Anyway, I'm having a wonderfully good day, Lida is coming to Vancouver tomorrow apparently and that is very joyful and awesome because i just so happen to not have school that day. Aaaaaaaaannnd city school is playing host to a number of pets, apparently, as in the past three days students have brought in a ferret and a kitten. They are so fuzzy and wuzzy.
I discovered an entertaining game on the bus today, which is to think random thoughts but in layers over top of eachother, like music but with sentences. then you try and say what you're thinking and it comes out like "Blagh buskg filrs al glaghhhf" and people stare at you. Maybe 'game' was the wrong word to use, but you knowww.
livejournal's only use is to help pass the time when you're outrageously bored and have no energy to do anything constructive. Interesting how i post so often...
