Writer's Block: I Can Relate

Haruhi Suzumiya. The entirety of existence and life as we know it was reinvented by me only a few years ago to allow for the existence of extraterrestrials, psychics and time travelers. In fact, her character was based entirely on events surrounding my passage into adolescence, wherein I realized that despite how unique I felt as a person, I was still just one dot when in a crowd of people watching baseball. My persistent rage against the tedium into which I was born culminated into a recluse personality and a general unacceptance of mundane matters such as romance and athletics, although I have the traits that would help me exceed in both. It is not until I meet a skeptical boy who, prior to entering high school, had also believed in a world with UFOs and wizards, that I begin to blossom into a powerful entity both frightening and exciting to behold. With him at my side, I begin an extracurricular club aimed at discovering the paranormal secrets that surround my world. Under my nose, the boy finds that those who have joined this club are exactly the kinds of people for which I have searched: an extraterrestrial, a time traveler, and a psychic. The irony is that to this day, I have no idea what wonders the people around me possess, despite how the only force bringing such colorful characters into my life is me.
