Andrea was dead. Because of her death where she was bitten, and she put a bullet in her head to insure she would not turn, she is gone. Here we had Beth, that was brought in at the second season. Beth was portrayed as an innocent young girl, and she had her own struggle with living among the dead. Remember the suicide attempt? Remember when she was catatonic with all the people she loved being the walking dead? Then the question is, will Beth forever be a minor character? The answer is no. She was introduced with this relationship with Beth and Daryl being with each other, and Daryl’s quest to find Beth after she was captured. Seven month buildup, “where’s Beth?” Let’s not forget, she was captured by these cars with white crosses painted on the back windshield. Why would the cars have white crosses painted on them? Why not red crosses? Why not no crosses? They had police cars! That being said, now we have Beth being pushed into the same situation as the comic book Andrea. Not only is she in the same situation as the comic book Andrea, but we find Beth acquiring the same scars as the comic book Andrea, and we still have Daryl with his underlying mission of finding Beth. And it’s still kind of to the forefront when he sees the car with the crosses driving by, and he breaks out the taillights so he can go follow. Let’s think about when they got there. Beth is being defiant. And, Beth has really come into her own, she’s finding her ways to defy Dawn and her minions. When Beth and Noah escape, notice the smile on Beth’s face when Noah is able to get away. Notice the defiance she poses to Dawn when she explains to Dawn that things aren’t going to change, this is reality. Now, can I speak again of the incident when they’re all there? I watched the whole thing. I looked repeatedly of the frame with the gunshot. Her wound showed an entry point at the left crown of the hairline with an exit wound at the upper left rear of the skull. Where Dawn was standing, it was impossible for her to make that shot. Everyone was focused on Beth and Dawn when Beth stabbed her with the scissors. Beth represented a real threat to someone in the hospital group, most likely the doctor. The doctor may have been the one that made the shot. Okay, now, with that kind of trauma, that wound render one unconscious. Let’s hold on just a minute. Everyone had left the church to go to Grady.
