In your own space, talk about your creative process - from what inspires you to what motivates you to how you manage to break through blocks. Song lyrics have always been a major motivation when it comes to writing. I used to have a playlist tht included songs from BtVS like "Displaced" and "Lucky". I can't write if I'm listening to a song that's too noisy, for lack of a better word.
I have a plot bunny for a Spuffy fic that I just haven't been able to flesh out, but I have so many scenes that have been inspired by various songs. I can be listening to a song in the car and the words will bring a scene to life in my mind. Unfortunately, that's probably the worst time because I can't exactly jot the thoughts down unless I pull over.
