Okay, I don't remember any of that, but I do remember when she got him to shave. He's actually a guy that I don't mind with facial hair, though. It's normally not my thing.
Yep. She really, REALLY did. Oh, I do remember this moment so well. It breaks my heart everytime and everytime I hope she won't do that. But it does make sense, in a way. She wasn't over Eddie, she was still into him. And even if w'ell find out later she always knew Pacey was the one, she never had closure with Eddie, not a true one.
It does make sense, but it still pissed me off how she just leaves him there and is SO HAPPY when she gets to Eddie. Like it meant nothing that she just hurt Pacey.
It was definitely an odd way for the writers to portray it with Joey saying that she doesn't feel it, which sounds quite final, rather than seeming genuinely torn and running away from her feelings for Pacey. I guess that they wanted to establish a relationship for both D/J and P/J that season, and then end them both, in order to lead into the "Who will she choose" of the finale?

That makes A LOT of sense. So much so that I shared the thought with a friend who was watching with me for the first time.
