Very touching but with just enough of a dash of humour to stop it becoming a broodfest. I really liked: Before he could descend into utter poncedom, - such a very Spike thing to think!

“Later,” Buffy promised, giving in to the rightness of reaching up to softly kiss his cheek before pivoting and entering the cemetery.

But they won't have 'later'. At least on our screen. *whimpers*
