I went to Pittsburgh last weekend for my Mom's retirement party. For those of you I couldn't visit (which is really all of you), sorry, but I really had very little time. I arrived Saturday afternoon, and left Sunday evening.
The party was a lot of fun, and I took a lot of
pictures, but chances are they won't be of any interest to...except maybe the
plane made of money. Unfortunately, I had the responsibility of carrying the plane to the car which entailed walking through the bar populated with drunken patrons. Among the remarks:
Did you just graduate? Congratulations!
Hey, I'll give you a dollar for that plane!
Ooh, can I get a ride on that plane?
STFU!! (That was me, in my head)
It's always good to go back home. It's the only place where I get to see a statue of
Franco Harris next to George Washington.
