Writer's Block: Bump In The Night

What are you afraid of?
I'm afraid of writers block. I mean it seems that with everything that is designed to block something, we later find it turns out to not be healthy for us or can cause secondary reactions. Take for instance, sun block. If you get sun block in your eyes frequently, it can cause real problems. What's worse is that we know everybody already gets it in their eyes. If you're putting on sunblock, it's usually because it's hot (and sunny) outside and you're probably sweating, and it's probably on your face so you don't get melanoma on your nose or crow-feet furrows beside your eyes. So, it's sunny, it's hot, you're sweating, you've got sunblock on your face or arms or feet (or wherever you might be sweating) and it jumps into your eyes like a six-foot flea digesting a dog for an afternoon snack.
Another example is bug-block. You use bug-block to prevent getting bug bites, but it doesn't always work and in somecases causes people to go into anaphalactic shock, die, or worse, come close to dying...like when you get lyme disease from a tick that decided to bite you where you didn't use any bug-block, or when you get like more than 5 mosquito-bites and they swell up to the size of small rodents...pink, naked ones. Nobody likes those kind of rodents because they aren't fuzzy or have cute little beedy black eyes. They're just there to irritate you like a slow, indecisive person in front of you at Starbucks, or atleast make you as uncomfortable as having an old, hairy, guy wearing just a thong sit next to you on the bus. Yeah, those kind of rodent sized mosquito bites are worse than dying. I know exactly what it's like: I dreamed about it once.
Yeah, so based on those two typs of "block" it is easy to see that any type of block is not healthy to use especially on a regular basis. funny thing is, I didn't even select the subject line. "bump in the night" Ha! I'm more afraid of 6 foot fleas!

afraid of, writer's block
