mildly funny day
So, yesterday I had a semi funny expierience, one of my frieds works for a radio station down here, and as such gets a whole lot of promotional stuff from his station. Well, he got 2 6 month free memberships to some gym kinda by my house. Well, neither of us currently really go to the gym, but we said what the heck, might was well take em if they are free! :D
Well, we went in just to take a look around the gym, and the owner took us on the grand tour that really wasnt verry grand, really a small gym in comparison to most. Well, after he sits us down and gives us his talk about members and what benifits they get, how much, yada yada, the whole time doesnt know we have the free certificates. Well, when he got to the point to ask us which plan we wanted, I was like, ohh by the way, we have these free 6 months, and his attitude totally changed. He went from Mr nice guy to, ohhh, ok, well you should join because you wont come unless you have a financial commitment involved in it. Really the guy started sounding like a cheap used car sales man. It was midly humerous. He started being like "Well, if you both buy now, ill throw in the training package and cut the mebership fee in half, and if you dont buy, the rates are oging to go up by the end of the 6 months, and then you will have to pay more any ways." At one point in time I really almost started laughing at him.
