Ever do something without realizing you did it, but your subconscious mind was still aware of it?
Like today, apparently I turned on my headlights when I drove in to work this morning. I have no recollection of turning them on and had no idea they were on until I parked my car and my hand reach up to turn them off and I heard the little "click" noise as knob turned to the "off" position.
And I had this little dialogue going on inside my head: "I don't remember turning the headlights on. I didn't know they were on. So how did I know to turn them off?" :S
The brain is quite an interesting thing.
