Freeter, Ie wo Kau SP ~ First Glance
Just finished watching Freeter SP, definitely will rewatch this again once the sub is up because there are some parts that I don't really understand (yeah, my Jap is still blah). Having say that, let's start with the SP that makes me laugh and awww and kyaaa for 2 hours. So, we continue what the drama has left off and fast forward to 1 year later. Seiji is still working at Ohetsu construction but now always wearing the suit and tie, the construction people there is still the same, full with laughter and warmth. Seiji is also still with Manami on long distance relationship program and thing looks very good with Seiji and we all please with what we see because our Seiji is doing well now. So, what this 2 hours SP (damn they make it looks short though) is about if everything is all well and fluffy.
Oh well, the SP is still light and fluffy with the conflict where those are the parts that I need the subs on. I can grasp all the fluffy stuff and that's how the laughter, awww and kyaaa came from. The first scene starts with Take family take an Onsen family trip and both father and son are relaxing in that clear hotspring (oh yeah, the water is clear LOL) and the bickering starts as usual. Then fast forward to main topic of this SP, marriege *gasp*. What I like in here, though they only show it in a very short time, Seiji from time to time feel insecure about the long distance relationship and that's when he starts calling Manami, and when Manami cut the call short, Seiji just feel dejected and move on, and I guess Seiji's personality is what makes their relationship works. Back on the marriege part, turns out that Manami's mom going to get re-married and Manami is upset about it and as usual, Seiji is in the middle and with a cat. Then the cat leads to the meeting of Manami with her future in-laws. Take papa is surprised when he sees the cat 'owner' is a lady, and his behaviour changes 360 degree with Seiji's rolling his eyes to that. Meanwhile, remember Teppei and Asami? Apparently Teppei is proposing and they're getting married after Teppei meet his future father in-law. What's with all these marriege in the air? And Freeter is not complete without the drama from Take mama. Take mama already all well and healthy, but apparently there's an untold story behind Take couple's marriege. So, how Seiji keeps his happy end till the end? Oh yes, it's happy end in deed, but I'll come to that.
OK, what I like. They still keep the scene where Seiji massages Take mama's hand. I'm so touched that he's still doing that even mom is all well. Then Take father and son bickering never stop to amuze me because Take papa can always come up with any ridiculous reasoning to proof his points and Seiji's face clearly says what!#$(#& and Take Mama is clearly amuzed. Next up is all the cuteness of Seiji and Manami couple. Seiji has a knack for not been able to express his feelings clearly in front of Manami and then end up being embarassed or change topic or when the mood is up, his employment agency buddy calls (yeah, the guy is still there and he always calls at the 'right' time). But that leads us to the kya part (see how fast i fast forward towards the end), his way of proposing is almost the same as the way he say 'suki' in drama, but sorry, I still like the suki in drama better, so, oh well, it's been awhile since I kya over drama so I give in.
Wait wait wait, how come I have a rant on Freeter? Oh that's because the kissing scene sucks... dear Nino, I don't know how you kiss in real life but can we put more passion in your kissing scenes? You can learn from Matsujun, no? No excuses because my kya soon dies after I saw the way you kiss. OK, next, this is Nino's drama, right? So, why on every single CM time, it's Sho's CM (yeah, I know it's not drama related, but I just need to rant :p)? From Oronamin, Aflac, Ajinomoto, Hitachi (finally, with Nino)... ... Nino, where're your CMs? I know it's been aired every now and then, but I see too many Sho, and it's your drama, not HIS. Then, we fast forward to 1 month later after Seiji proposed to Manami, suddenly Manami replacement in Ohetsu Construction shows up in suit and his appearance is done in split seconds .... ... ... and for what purpose? There's only one and only, the world Gymnastic Championship, anyone? This one is a bit pushing it to the point of amusement actually...
Bottom line, yeah, I'll rewatch this, it's a fun and fluffy drama but it concludes the whole drama, and we all want to know what's next for Seiji and Manami from the drama right? And we have our answer here :)...
