it's the simple things that make it hard, spolied baby t's and credit cards...
for some reason unknown to me i have the facts of life show song stuck in my head. huh. this must mean that i am not officially starting to go insane.
anyways, got into my new classtoom yesterday. this job will be a great staring point for teaching, however, i WILL me in a district by next fall. more money there, and i don't mean for me (tho, that is true!) but for supplies and shit.
anyways, my room is coming together, slow bu sure. i am so nervous for tuesday, but i am going to go in as confident as i can. here is my day:
8:00 to 8:30 the children eat breakfast
8:30 to 8:45 the go ouside for a bit
then from then to 11 i have to entertain them!
then at 11 they have lunch
then at 11:30 they have another recess
then from 12-2 they nap (which is awesome!)
then they have snack
then at 2:30 they go outside
then at 3 to 5 it's back to me entertaining them, but they have specials on certain days, sooo...
it's not to bad
so in really there is only about 4 hours they i have to really teach them academics, and i am sure i can handle that. i am going to take from my k5 student teaching experience mostly.
in other news that no one cares about...i got my hair cut and got blonde highlights. i also bout two pairs of earrings. yay me.
on saturday i am going to rockford to help my brother move. they have movers and everything, buyt the main purpose i am going is that if Ann goes into labor i can watch Joey! she is due in two weeks about but joey was about that much early i think.
well, it's the 31st, so in my world, that is a busy day-turnovers. thank God it worked out that i am off today. i better enjoy it, not a day off until Thanksgiving! yikes!
