today, i learned that it is good to download the free pattern if there is any chance that you might even be *thinking* about knitting it. why? because people sell their patterns to publishers and then they are no longer free.
luckily, i did download it when i first saw it. and then i went through all of the patterns in my queue and made sure that i downloaded the free ones, while they are still free.
