Double Damn!
Very disappointed….
Sunday when I got home from Pirates Fest, I was going to order my costume for Archon. I happily took myself out to ebay and to my dismay found this out.
The quoted price is only a “starting” price on a 15 day posting. You must bid. If you wanted to “Buy it Now”, that’s $40 more or $35 if you order it from their nonaffiliated store.
Great, just peachy. The outfit is only the top portion too. Here is what I figured and it doesn’t include shipping.
Outifit: $175
Bottoms: $40
Shoes: $40
Hat: $30
Accessories: $30
Now, I’m up to approximately $315.00 for an outfit that isn’t a convention practical. Now, do I have the money, yes but do I have the money to spend on something I may wear once or twice…NO!
