I'm trying to write thank you notes for the two main ladies at work. And I can't. I hate thank you notes, because I always come off as a major tool, either a screwdriver or a hammer.

Thank you for giving me a job! I know I've cursed Mylar tape, Dymo labels, irregularly-sized books, sticky scissors, jacket covering and Perma-Bound more than once, but I loved having more than a 1.99 in my bank account. I'll need a job next year, so remember to throw down a little of that nepotism my way!

I just can't seem to find that happy medium between blatant ass-kissery and offensiveness.
But at least my cards have cute little ladybugs on them.
