wedding party

So Jana, I think that this website will be awesome to go along with the theme. What say you? I'm guessing yes

In other news, I'm fairly certain that the wedding party has been finalized:
Maid of Honor - The ever lovely Jana
Best Man - Ken, one of Ricky's friends from college

Bridesmaids: Pam (my cousin), Brittany (another cousin), Amy (yet another cousin), Joan (Ricky's youngest sister), Cathy (Ricky's second
oldest sister), Mary (Ricky's next oldest sister)

Groomsmen: David (my cousin), Larry Jr. (another cousin--not confirmed yet), Cody (Ricky's soon to be brother in law), Keith (Ricky's
childhood friend), BJ (another childhood friend), Johnathan (B-I-L)

The actual pairings will be:
Ken & Jana
Keith & Pam
David & Brittany
Joan & Cody
Cathy & Johnathan
Mary & BJ
Amy & Larry Jr.

I know its a bit big of a wedding party, but I think that overall its going to work out fairly well. I'm not sure what order everyone will be in other than Ken & Jana, but we'll figure that out at some point. It will probably go back and forth between our respective families.

One of my aunt's, her grandchildren are fraternal twins (a boy and girl). I'm going to ask them to be the flower girl and ring bearer, which I think is going to be so adorable. They will be 8 by the time the wedding comes around, but I still think that they'll be within the right age frame for the flower girl and ring bearer.

I'm thinking of asking a different aunt's granddaughter to stand at the guest book to make sure people sign it and leave their addresses as they are coming into the church.  With this arrangement, along with the others of the bridal party and ring bearer/flower girl, I'm having someone from each of my mom's siblings' families involved in some way or another except one.

Now, I'm not particularly close to anyone in this family but I would still feel bad about leaving someone out.  This aunt has a granddaughter who is 6 or 7, maybe? Do you think she is too young to hand out programs to people as they come in the church? I know that job is usually handled by whoever is manning the guest book, but this way I can include the family and my cousin who's at the guest book (she'll be 14 at the time) could sort of watch over her to make sure she's being good. I mean, I can always ask another cousin, but I'm not sure.
