Merlin's Dark Waltz
Hello muffins,
Watched Pride and Prejudice today - you know, the kiera knightly one with that gorgeous guy who used to be on spooks? Anyway, watching that while procrastinating before listening to Hayley Westenra really gets the imagination going and I managed another merthur oneshot... yay! ^^ I'll upload the whole thing after editing but I just love this so I doubt it will go anywhere:
The violins slid easily from one piece to another and Arthur’s eyes sparked with some light of mischief as he proffered his hand with a courtly bow, with only the slightest air of a joke. Merlin, forever irrepressible, smiled and stepped forward without hesitation to slide his hand into Arthur’s, palms brushing, caressing and meeting, fingers twining, squeezing. A different light ignited in Arthur’s eyes and Merlin raised an eyebrow challengingly even as his breath hitched. Arthur, of course, noticed.
Hmm, I do like that part... it's about as slashy as I get though... although I think something like that can be more intense than a kiss so there you go ^-^
Anyway, I have no idea if I should post it here when I'm done as well as on ff.net... Joined a merlin'arthur group so I 'spose I should hey ^-^
BTW 43 degrees (celsius) today... my brain is mush. Really. It's leaking out my ears. Ew.
