A country western singer named Dave Caroll and his band took a flight across the country for a gig. They flew United, and the baggage folk callously mishandled their instruments; the suits refused to comp them when the instruments broke as a result.
To get even, Dave Caroll wrote a song about it, and made a video. It is getting millions of hits on You Tube, and actually cutting into United's business as a result. CNN did a piece on it and everything.
