Smells like teen spirit

I am currently sitting in Carden's front office, and it smells like musty.

This would be because our building is old, and has louvered windows in the front.

Which means that when the sprinkler in the flower beds right outside said windows breaks, if the direction of the spray just happens to be at the proper angle to slip in between the louvers, the entire front half of the director's office will get soaked.

Last night I discovered what it feels like to burn not only your tongue, but UNDER your tongue as well. I was boiling some shell pasta for dinner, and scooped up a few to check their consistency. The one I happened to pop into my mouth had gotten bundled with another one, with the openings facing inward. This created a little pocket in which boiling water could accumulate, WHICH IT DID. This meant that when I bit down on the pasta, a nice little gush of boiling water flooded my mouth, getting under my tongue, and generally causing much spitting, gasping, and anguished screeching.

This morning I got up and went to go check out my mouth in the mirror. The tip of my tongue looks like I expected it to: a little reddened, but overall doing okay. Under my tongue? Maybe it looks like there's scar tissue or something. I'm seriously not even kidding. It freaked me out, and it hurts like no other. Graaahhhhh.

I don't want to go to class today.
