Gero....again lol!
Woops...I havent updated in a while. Well recently not many interesting things have been happening. I had a Japanese exam last week (which I think I passed) I've been playing bass guitar and plodding along with work.
I did however go back to Gero (probably the 4th time Ive been there) to look at one of the old villages and go to the onsen.
This is the old town above the newer town. Everything had thatched roofs.

Cherry Blossoms in November!
Pretty red trees everywhere
We went into the mini doll museum and found some heads on a stick...creepy.
Followed by heads on a stick in a bucket!
There was a nice fire inside one of the houses. So me and Nonchan sat down for a picture :)
Followed by abusing the models with David.
Sitting on the window sill next to some dried persimmons.
Afterwards we want up the hill to many of the little museums. Found alot of dolls and figures.
Then there was a kinda rubbish dragon...
and some pretty interesting stones!
After the old villiage we went to the onsen and then to a restaurant to have some famous Gyudon. Beef is famous in the Hida region which Gero borders on. So I had Tomato and Beef Rice, which was odd but nice.
After, we went to a shrine and looked at some of the folliage lit up. It was very very very pretty and my camera is not good enough to capture it!!
Anyway I better keep updating. I'll be sure to post some random stuff later...I have enough to post piled up :P
