Osaka and Drinking....
So last weekend I went to visit a friend in Osaka and I ended up in a green gatchapin costume, with blue hair and well....alot of strange looks. It was fun. Here are pictures!
I am in the blue, and Jen is in the pink/purple.
In our costumes, walking down a normal street in Japan.... You'd think that they were used to this sort of stuff...but they arent!
So I spent 3 hours on a train and ended up at Jens place. We went for sushi and then walked about til we got to America Mura. Before that we stopped at the Hello kitty store. Jen is obsessed with hello kitty.
Oh yeah and I cut my hair...which you cant really see here...or in any of the photos in this entry.

So at a 390 yen store me and Jen bought matching sunglasses and wigs...before we went to an izakaya to have some food and something to drink. There was a magician entertaining people and before he came I decided to try out my wig. I got alot of attention. I also told the guy that I was an Alien and he did some awesome tricks for us. Including making my ring disappear! It was very fun!

We also found that in Osaka you can pay for sexual harassment at a fairly extortionate rate.
1 hour = roughly £60....expensive!
Afterwards we headed home, got changed and went out to meet some of Jens friends at a local pub.

Between one bar and the next we played drunken taiko..
And failed.....alot...
We saw this random guy at 2am...I dunno why...he was weird...

and then to a meatmarket of a nightclub called some stupid name but I forgot. It was a meat market!! But it was also all you can drink. And females get in cheaper :D

And...after the club we bought our costumes. Gachapin and Hello Kitty... I hailed a taxi in my costume. I also got changed on the train!
We had alot of burgers to nurse the hangover. But they tasted soooo good. I then got home about 10.30 at night after a relaxing day in Osaka. It was fun.
We were slightly random though...and strange...but definatly an experience!!!
The week before that I organised a night out and alot of people came (which was mega fun!!). We drank, we ate and we went to karaoke! Following the karaoke we went to a bar called bottoms up, which was...an experience. The people were definatly lively!!!

We also went to another place, but before that we posed weirdly on the street drunk...I dont know why....
It was a good night, except for the fact that I had to walk a very long time to get to rins place as he fell asleep and couldnt pick me up like he said he wanted to. But it was ok :)
The next day I had invited some people round to mine for food and a catch up. People came and we made Curry and had lots of snacks and some chu-hi. I was feeling bad with the cold so I went to bed early, but heres some pics.
