So on Sunday I played live at a open mike night. I played the bongo's. cow bell and did backing and solo for 2 songs.
Me, Liz + Warren
At the end. I might be sweaty.
We played;
Foo Fighters - My Hero (bongos + vocals)
Blind Melon - Soul One (bongos)
Metallica - Nothing else matters (Bongos)
Play that funky music white boy (vocals)
and later we played - All the small things (vocals)
and.... Weezer - Say it aint so (bongos)
I filmed alot of it but I still dont have the internet, so they'll have to wait. Before we played our set we went for food after practise and ended up in an izakaya pub with an old guy and the tender. The old guy called his wife to the pub cos he thought we were cute, and he bought us some yakitori and filled our glasses up with lots of alcohol. Old people are funny.
We then went and practised and did our set. We got everyone involved in the end of the set which was nice. Oh and I made some new friends. We played at 9.30pm til 10pm and then again after 11pm. However my last train was at 12.26 so I had to run for the train after. We recieved free beer, tequilla and I was made the best bongo player in the place. Nice. It was a whole lot of fun and I definatly want to do it again. :D
However, I could feel the affects of the tequilla later on, but I was fine for work this morning, where I went up in front of 200 students and introduced myself. It was good.

Bongoing all the way
Also before that....
Pretty pictures from my phone :D in Rins car..
before this happened to his car :( He backed it into a lamp post so now hes back window and car-less. Its going to cost a fortune to fix...so I'm really worried about him. Plus I had a bit of a sore neck from it. Spent my saturday helping rin sort things out. His poor car...hes only had it 2 months :(
Hoping to cheer him up by cooking him dinner and stuff, when hes back driving again. Was a bit shocked that it happened (it really was in the weirdest place). Oh well.
Next post...maybe videos.
Also, school lunch = amazing. Curry udon...oh yeah!
