Prospero was being sneaky.
Glancing cautiously around the mansion, the magician managed to bypass the residents and slip into the ballroom. There he secured the doors and rubbed his hands together. Ah, what a perfect plan, a perfect opportunity!
He cleared his throat in the middle of the silent room and took up his staff. He raised his free hand and made a strong movement to the walls. Flowering vines and fruits immediately grew from the walls and covered them and the ceiling. From the chandelier hung wisteria; on the tables flowers bloomed. The floor of the ballroom became covered in a thin layer of sand. And, for his own amusement, Prospero touched the ground and up came a coconut tree.
Ahhh. Just like the old days.
Standing in the middle of his creation, Prospero beamed proudly. It was almost like Milan.. though.. he was missing the beach. He figured that if he tried to create a real tempest with the lake nearby, it might not be appreciated. He settled for what he had.
Prospero leaned against his staff, scrutinizing the room. Yes, everything was in order. Butterflies were even fluttering about the room. It was a sight to behold. Pure beauty, he thought. Nature is an amazing thing.
Amongst the leaves lay little presents of round pearls and porcelain-white eggs filled with a sweet cream. The doors to the ballroom were now open. Everything was in order.
All he was missing was a certain sprite named Ariel.
