Goin to Zona!
Several months ago, vanraf invited me to visit her in Arizona, but the timing just hasn't been right. I was thinking of going this week while I have days off for Easter break, but the prices on my cheap airline that flies out of Great Falls, Montana (a three hour drive, similar to driving to the Calgary airport) went up because I waited too long to book it. If you book early with them, you can get flights for as low as $29.99 before taxes. Mine had gone up to $99.99 outbound and $299.99 inbound.
I thought that was ridiculous and was going to scrap the idea. Nevermind the fact that I don't have another stretch of days off until July, and that it's 40C in Arizona that time of the year, which I wouldn't really want to deal with. And I want to move in the fall. When would I get another opportunity?
And then I looked out the window.
It was snowing.
And I booked my flight for $400.
I leave tomorrow! Back Tuesday.
Off to pack some skirts and tank tops! It's 25-31C (64-88F) there this week. :D And the wind is not going to be 65km/h, as it is currently here!
