I think you've picked an absolutely brilliant title for this fic: you've captured your protagonists' defining moments with just the right details, and I love the way you've strung them together. Great job!

This is lovely! I really liked how you overlapped events, from Lily, to Lily and Neville, to Neville, to Neville and Ginny, to Ginny. The structure worked beautifully and provided a nice sense of continuity to the story's theme.

Eeeeee!

Oh, wow. What a brilliant use of my prompts (and so many of them, too!), and what fabulous glimpses into what makes three of my favorite characters tick!

I love this look at Lily, from getting her letter (and meeting Slughorn--I'm SO glad you included that!), to learning about the prejudices in the Wizarding world, to her love of potions (and as someone who works in a lab, I LOVE that you had her father experiment like that, too!). And then you made her part even better by adding poor ickle Neville in there, too, boils and all.

And Neville's section. *squee* I love that he did better than Hermione on something, that he just knew there was something off with the plant, and then he actually used the knowledge later against the Carrows!

And with Ginny, I think my favorite part was that she was smart. I particularly liked that she figured out Cho's strategy and then used that against her, that it wasn't just luck that let Ginny beat Cho to the Snitch...and then she used strategy again in the game against the Falcons ( ... )

This was fun. I liked the way you overlapped the characters and made it flow. I liked the glimpse into Lily's young life. And Slughorn coming to give her the letter was great. I loved Neville knowing there was something wrong with the plant, just instinctively. As a gardener, it made me squee. And Ginny was Brilliant. I thought it was great she observed Cho and was able to use what she learned against her. Awesome job.

I read this because it was for Aggiebell and our tastes run the same. I'm glad I did.

Maybe she wasn't a natural like Harry, maybe she wasn't even at his level yet, but that did not mean she was not a good flier; it did not mean she was not a good Quidditch player; hell, it did not even mean she was not a good Seeker.

For me these lines encapsulate this story. Talent is talent, regardless of where it stands in relation to the talents of others.

I loved the story, and I loved the three characters you picked.
