Oh, I knew I was going to love this as soon as I saw the summary. *g*

Such great fun -- Death Eaters and constant vigilance aside, this really is a typical road trip in so many ways, from the petrol station to the bickering. (Totally don't agree with our friends from the ending; I love road trips, including this one.)

Some favourite lines:

"On the road? Tomorrow? Me?" Arthur gasped. "In a Muggle car?" It was too good to be true ( ... )

Oh, I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I have to admit that I was a bit worried about whether I could carry off Selmak-level snark. But McGonagall and Moody tend to write themselves in that regard. Anyway, I was pleased to have the chance to write so many of my favorite characters.

Oh, this is charming! I love McGonagall and Moody as bickering exes, and the autocratic transfusion, and Arthur realizing that his old teachers have personal lives :)
