This is absolutely delightful. I love the period details, mixed in with snippets from canon. Brother Thomas' attitude makes perfect sense in context, and I Sir Cadogan is utterly adorable.

I liked Brother Thomas's discomfort with magic, his hoping that it will go away so he can go home and Olivander's bundling him off as soon as any acceptable wand could be found. The interaction in the garden was lovely too.
