I'm not particularly fond of Quidditch, and I confess that my eyes skipped over some of the details of play, but I loved the atmosphere you evoked here. How sad that students don't normally get to mess around playing Quidditch because there are so many House practices! I particularly liked the detail of the little Hufflepuff girl who was so excited about being able to play for the first time. It always struck me as a bit odd that there were no sports classes after the initial broomstick flying lesson (though I can completely understand why JKR wouldn't want to get bogged down in writing them).

Antonin was adorable - how refreshing to see a Slytherin who is a) not nasty or brutish and b) offered friendship by students from other houses (and willing to accept it). I had a huge smile on my face when he appeared on the flying carpet - that was such a wonderful idea.

And just as welcome was a Ginny seen in her own right, not just in relationship to Harry. I was struck by her observation: Not once in the game had anyone booed from the stands. This is how the game should be, she thought, smiling.

Indeed. This fic glows with heart and human decency. Thanks for writing it.

Its okay that you skipped over parts. I freely admit to doing that with not a few of the stories I read. As for the rest, I dont know how much more I can say in response, you seem to have gotten it all. So, thank you for such a wonderful review. Im truly glad you thought so highly of this story.
