Interesting, and a well-done example of how intent, in wartime, too often doesn't matter, just as guilt for a death needn't be affected by the actions or choices of the person killed. I'd wondered, after a while, if it was a witch hiding behind those sunglasses in the Muggle world, trying to escape for a while just as Remus was; you worked up to confirming the connection between him and Narcissa very neatly.

What a well-written story! There simply isn't enough Remus fic out there. I shall admit I didn't even see the Malfoy connection until Remus did! Great twist:)

I thought it was very fitting that even after all those years of war and before Remus still hadn't killed everyone. He showed much mroe compassion and intelligence than many of the DE. Considering he's a werewolf, I think it shows immmense strenght in character.

Poor Draco and Narcissa though! Harry was so Harryish...stubborn and whatnot. Good work:)

I've always been fascinated by how the experience of war affects people in different ways and what happens to compassion when the circumstances are, shall we say, slightly less favourable towards it. And Remus was a suitable character to use for exploring that, I guess. :)

Thanks so much for reading! ♥
