All right. All right. You've more than done justice to that quote from Poe. This . . this is utterly brilliant. Chilling, firelit beautiful, with the taste of Dark Magic, the vibration of a remembered scream, and the texture of a nightmare. Impossibly coherent, given the threads of time you've woven in. Took on a life of it's own? Yes, it certainly did. It's brilliant.

It's lovely. I died a little for Harry, and you kept a very tight leash on the narrative, it could have been utterly incoherrent, and wasn't at all. Cheers.

I'm glad that this story had a mind of its own, because if this is what I get. :D I like the horror elements of it, and the way you interwove Harry's hallucinations with what really happened. I like Sirius' visitations, and the claustrophobic atmosphere of the Black house, and Ron and Hermione's concern. You captured the Trio dynamic just right. So, thank you!

I'd say that this fic is pretty much what I requested, since it had Harry and Sirius interaction of a sort, and had the Trio in it. Either that, or it was something I didn't request, but was exactly what I wanted. :)

Grimmauld Place made an excellent haunted house.
