Nice to see Hagrid playing a role for a change! I'm sure Harry would work it out eventually, he's a resilient sort of bloke. :)

Lily's being a squib is a great premise for a story--very original! I just love Hagrid! :D Excellent work!

This was really interesting. I liked that Hagrid had a role to play, and it makes sense to me that Harry would be the one who was really worried about the issue, given his lack of belonging anywhere. Nice work!

What an interesting idea!

I really liked your descriptions of how magic manifests in babies, with toys rocking towards them and nappies whooshing away. It's little details like that that make a world live.

I felt for Harry's sense of unfairness here - after all he's been through, to have his desire to have things better for his children thwarted through no fault of his own would be tough, and it's right that he needs time to let go of his dream of how things should have been in order to start to accept how things are.

The lecture from Hagrid on accepting difference is spot on. Hopefully he'll be on hand to support the child as she grows up.
