I really liked your descriptions of how magic manifests in babies, with toys rocking towards them and nappies whooshing away. It's little details like that that make a world live.
I felt for Harry's sense of unfairness here - after all he's been through, to have his desire to have things better for his children thwarted through no fault of his own would be tough, and it's right that he needs time to let go of his dream of how things should have been in order to start to accept how things are.
The lecture from Hagrid on accepting difference is spot on. Hopefully he'll be on hand to support the child as she grows up.
