Ummm..... since Thanksgiving is tomorrow, and Mayfield considers that a holiday, I thought I might give the newer people fair warning. The town usually does something involving the turkeys. And possibly trapping people in their assigned houses.

Maybe nothing will happen this year, but it's probably best to be careful anyway.

Mayfield can be pretty cruel when it comes to holidays. It's best to be careful.

Ah... that's what I've heard. But I don't celebrate the same holidays as Mayfield does, so it's kinda difficult to keep track of them.

Check the calenders. A lot of the holidays are marked right on them.

The next big one is Christmas. December 25th.

Do you want me to tell you what Christmas is supposed to be like? Or what Mayfield turns it into?

[Let's see, how to explain Christmas to someone who probably isn't even from earth...]

Christmas is, at it's core, a religious holiday. I won't bother you with all the details, but it celebrates the birth of the Christian messiah. Of course, over many years, it transformed into an entirely more secular holiday. So now it has a lot more to do with exchanging gifts with each other. There is also a mythological figure known as Santa Claus, who gives gifts to children who have behaved themselves, and coal to children who have been bad.

With me so far?
