Considering the people wouldn't have had the choice unless the town had offered it, I would say yes.

However everything else you have a point.

I'm starting to think that the town doesn't have to do much to turn us against each other. Maybe nothing at all.....

Are you okay? You didn't get involved in all of that, did you?

You'd be surprised with how easily mobs can form.

No, I stayed home and tried to help as much as I could. No letter for me luckily.

What about you?

I didn't get one either. I stayed home most of the week.

[He did spend a lot of time listening to the phones though. This week was depressing. Even though he wasn't directly involved, a lot of what happened hit very close to home.]

Do you.... do you want to get ice-cream? Or- or something?

[He just really wants to go somewhere and do something not depressing for a while.]

Good.

[She smiles at that.]

I'd love to. We can meet at the diner if you'd like?

Sure.

I'll see you there in about an hour then?

[OOC: has he given Tiffany a Dolly yet? If he hasn't, he's totally bringing her one.]

[Possibly? Let's go with no.]

Sounds good.

[And there will be a familiar 16 year old in a blue dress, witches hat and practical boots waiting at the diner. Ah clothes from home, never change.]

[He has also elected to wear an outfit from home. His school uniform. He smiles and waves when he sees her.]

Hi, been waiting long?

That's good.

[Blushing juuust slightly, he pulls a tiny stuffed sheep from his pocket.]

Here. I made this for you. At my school, we carried these around for good luck.

Oh is it a charm?

[Totally normal thing. She takes it and looks at the sheep. She can't help but smile though. Granny Aching would have approved of the sheep. The Aching family was made up of Shepherds after all.]

[He smiles. Yay, she likes it~]

Sort of. We call them 'Almighty Dollys.' They're supposed to bring luck and help to make your wishes come true.
