Authors Notes: This one has been hard to write for some reason, I started it when the challenge was still going on but kept deleting what I'd written and was never satisfied with it so I ended up giving up, but looks like inspiration hit tonight. Not quite how I'd planned for it to go but oh well.
It started out as a four year-old child innocently asking why mummy didn't get a birthday cake this year, and then moments later exclaiming that she wanted to make one and would aunty Kaitlyn help her make one. Stating when asked that uncle Hilary would help her blow out the candles. And so as promised, aunty Kaitlyn helped her make a cake and uncle Hilary helped her to blow out the candles that night. It started out as a one off, but before any of them knew it they baking a cake the year after. Soon becoming a tradition of theirs.
