OMG, today was aweful. Not in the sense that everything just went bad but that it was a long day and I'm pooped! I woke up this morning cuz I had to be at work at 10 and my shift wasn't over until 7pm. That's 9 hours of being at work (with an hour lunch break so technically I was only on for 8). I thought it wouldn't be too bad. I thought I could just shuffle through the new freight and admire pretty things but after I came back from lunch we were busy nonstop! I kept trying to catch up on the 'go backs' (items that have to be restocked after customers try them on) but everytime I'd finish one stack there would be another waiting for me. The same bucket of new freight that I had started in the morning was still being processed when I left at 7. I really hope they made plan. We didn't reach our first segment goal and I'm 95% sure that we didn't make our 2nd segment goal but if we're busy enough tonight maybe just maybe we could make plan for the day. Also, I think we got like 5 or 6 credits today. That's freaking awesome. A good day is usually 2 - at best! That's the worst part about the job. Having to be responsible for and expected to get credit app attempts (if a person is declined, it still counts). It's not an easy thing to talk people into applying for a credit card, especially around here when bad credit is more of a plague rather than a state of finance. Man, I love my job. I fell more like a manager than an associate. I think the other managers I work with see me more as a manager so they treat me as one. I just don't have keys or a big payday. But I also get along well with all the associates. They seem to think I'm easy to talk to because they all dish they're problems to me. Which is awesome. I am a good listener. And everybody knows that I like talking.

Forever 21 is hiring for all positions in the mall. They open in May. If they manager person calls me back then I think I have a good shot. I should have a good shot either way but I really need to talk to her and see what she's looking for as far as hours go. And plus, people are usually super impressed with my communication skills and friendliness once they've talked to me and they usually hire me. I just have to talk to her so she has the opportunity to see how awesome I am.

Oh, and after working for 8-9 hours today I still managed to do my scheduled workout today. How awesome am I right now? Pretty damn awesome! And it was an intense lower body workout too. My feet were already hurting from working all day and all my muscles have been hurting from the previous couple days' workouts so pushing thru this one was super tough. But I did it! I feel like I can do anything right now. Maybe even wrap up this post - LOL!
