- Final Fantasy XII, Noah/Vayne: reversal - apology could gift him with freedom

[Here is some Extremely Late fic.  I am sorry, prompter, but work + prototype + another fandom ate my life.]

When Landis had embraced the chaos grounds that ran rife through its forests, a millennia ago, instead of rejecting them as the Knight Order had ( Read more... )

(Am pretty sure) this is one of mine! Thank you for writing. This is an amazing AU set-up, I find myself fascinated by the idea of the natural rawness of this Landis versus the technological Archadians. Just the hints of worldbuilding are great. And how much do I love their armour? :)

Also, is very fun that Noah can't quite bring himself to turn Vayne into the useful servant that Vayne would turn Noah into. And that conquering Basch has the same weaknesses that conquered Basch does.

haha, I lose track too. I've actually asked the mods to tell me if I accidentally mark myself down for a prompt that I submitted. ^^;;;

Ffamran inserted himself into the story, and then (to) Basch. ;/

This is beautiful -- I love this AU world you've created, and I especially love what you've done with Vayne. Memming for sure!

Thanks for sharing. (:

Mmmmmh. Loved this switch. Your reversal is very elegant and intriguing. The frission between Noah and Vayne is too delectable! Thank you for writing this.

ahhh, this is so cool! I love all the thought you put into the characters.. Do you think it was Basch abandoning the fight in Landis that gave him his inflated sense of duty later on? And maybe because Basch met him at such a young age, Balthier's less likely to fly off somewhere.. I DUNNO BUT IT'S FUN TO THINK ABOUT :3 what a wonderful world you've created here!

This is a very interesting AU. The differences seem to come from the world-building, and follow through organically.
