I heart you so much for writing this =). I love your Kouyuu dearly (my biases, let me show you them) as you really capture him perfectly. He's just adorable in his confusion and Kouyuu-ness. Only Kouyuu would enter a brothel and head straight for the bookcase. Oh, Kouyuu. I love the AU you've created as well, it gives it an interesting layer of complexity. You've obviously put more thought into it than my current 'swap the clans around' plot bunny, where the Rans are the royal family simply because the thought of Shuuei as a lazy prince hitting on student!Kouyuu is too enticing a thought to ignore (I ... am shallow. This is perhaps not new).

And, I'm babbling, which it turns out is quite difficult to do when your fingers are practically frozen. Thank you very much, and I hope there is more. I find myself more and more hungry for good Kouyuu fic at the moment, and this certainly helped =)

I try my best with Kouyuu . . . I don't generally have many good fanfic ideas relating to him, but once I get started he tends to write himself, which is a big help to me. ::wry:: Anyway, I wouldn't say I've put a great deal of thought into this, it's just kind of fun to consider. I was actually pondering it previous to your request, for my own idle amusement, and then when I saw the prompt I realized it would work perfectly well in this world. So it's probably not exactly what you intended, but . . . well.

You should write your bunny, though, it sounds like fun! . . . although I worry for the fate of the triplets; would they be able to work out their three-are-one deal if it were the position of Emperor rather than clan head?

There will be more, although I don't know when it will be coming . . . June is looking mildly hellish in terms of scheduling at the moment. I will do my best to get it up as soon as possible. At least part of the fic is on time . . .
