They have a big bed.
No, actually, they have a huge bed. Both in Cephiro and in Autozam, they have huge beds where Hikaru sometimes thinks she would disappear if she was alone. It helps that their rooms are, usually, the size of Earth's normal apartments, she thinks, or less there'd only be a bed and no other furniture at all.
It's not surprising. Both Eagle and Lantis are really tall, and they both love sleeping and both of them would cheerfully ignore meetings to keep on sleeping if they weren't so devoted to their jobs to make their world a better place, and Hikaru loves seeing them sleep, and she also loves sleeping with them, even though she's the only one who keeps on waking up at sunset every day.
But the point remains. They have a truly huge bed that more or less goes to waste, since they like sleeping together, wrapped around each other until it's difficult to actually move away from bed in the morning since usually there's at the very least a leg tangled with hers, and an arm thrown around her waist, and her arm is under Eagle or Lantis, and that's not even mentioning her hair. But the have a huge bed and they sleep in a tiny portion of it, even when it's hot, because the three of them like to cuddle, something that Hikaru adores.
It's nice. When she comes to New Cephiro so tired after her classes are done, it's nice to go to their room and know that the bed it's there, more often than not with her two boyfriends inside, sometimes sleeping, sometimes kissing and touching and loving each other. It's nice how they'll pull her right inside their embrace, as if they were okay together but now that she's with them everything is more than okay, perfect, unbelievable, and they'll touch and kiss, pressing together and moaning gently, and she'll smile against Lantis' lips, knowing that makes him smile, and she'll laugh with Eagle, both of them breathless but giddy with happiness and love, almost high with how everything fit, and she'll remember how much she loves them..
Then they'll sleep, sheets bunched and twisted around them any and all way, and every now and then Eagle will sigh as if he was suffering, barely hiding his laughter behind his words, saying how he doesn't know why they ever thought about getting such a big bed and Hikaru will laugh against Eagle's or Lantis' chest as Lantis shakis his head with an amused twist to his lips, and she'll think about the huge bed they're not completely using and the tiny safe comfortable cocoon of blankets and hugs and cuddles and kisses they actually use and she knows she wouldn't change it at all.
