Ooh, I really like this, and Shang's uncertainty. The demarcation Disney!pseudoslash intrigued me, and I totally see what you mean.

It's sort of a long-time joke of mine, that Shang had been in denial about his possible attraction towards Ping and that's one of the reasons why he looked so betrayed when he found out the truth. It always amuses me when I put that warning, but it's the one way I can think of phrasing it.

Thanks for reading! I'm glad you liked it. It's always been one of my little jokes that the reason why he was so mad when he discovered that Ping was Mulan was because he liked Ping.
