A/N: I humbly apologize if this isn’t my best work ever, I’ve been extremely sidetracked when it comes to ficcing this springkink, first with a job, then with moving. I also apologize for all fics turned in after their proper dates, as I have no home internet, and the nearest library with internet is a three mile walk. I will try to do better.

Demonthropy
Lycanthrope.
Serph knows the word. A mental disease, causing people to believe they turn into animals. There are several variants, with wolves being the primary type. Not that he can remember what a wolf is. The closest thing he can think to compare one to is Lupa’s demon form. And he’s fairly sure wolves don’t have three heads.
So what is the word for someone who turns into a demon? Possessed doesn’t quite work here. Possession seems to indicate a demon with plans and thoughts. All Varna wants to do is kill, eat, sleep, and possibly make baby Varnas with a female demon. Serph has found himself going from reasonable to snarling and snapping in moments. This happens most often when Heat is around. They are both alphas, and Serph can’t help but feel that Heat will try to take over the tribe.
A good portion of it is Varna. Strange. It should have been terrifying to realize he wasn’t alone in his head anymore. Serph finds it fascinating instead. So much he could learn from all of this. But Nirvana is waiting, and Serph is ready to lead the tribe to it.
Studying this virus, this demonthropy, will have to wait.
